Welcome to Salud Familiar. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the website saludfamiliarcounseling.com (the "Site"), the purchase of courses and books, and the engagement of counseling services offered by Salud Familiar.

By using the Site, purchasing a product, or scheduling a session, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Who we are

2. What we offer

Through the Site you may:

  • Enroll in digital courses and online programs on family, marital, spiritual, and personal growth topics from a Christian perspective.
  • Purchase books and materials by Pastor Javier Rosario and other resources curated by Salud Familiar.
  • Schedule informational meetings and sessions of Christian counseling, marriage coaching, and ministerial accompaniment.

3. Nature of our services

Salud Familiar provides pastoral accompaniment, Christian counseling, and coaching from a faith-based perspective. All our Christian family counselors hold academic training in psychology but operate exclusively from the scope of Christian counseling, pastoral guidance, and marriage coaching. We do not provide psychotherapy, medical care, or licensed mental health services, and we are not subject to HIPAA. Our resources are not a substitute for the care of a physician, psychiatrist, licensed psychologist, or any other licensed healthcare professional.

4. User account

To access courses or schedule services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. The information you provide must be truthful, current, and complete.

5. Purchases and payments

Prices listed on the Site are in U.S. dollars (USD) and may change without prior notice. Payments are processed by secure external providers (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, or others). You authorize the corresponding charge to the payment method indicated at the time of purchase.

Cancellation, refund, and credit conditions are described in our Sales and Refunds Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

6. Digital courses

Access to digital courses and programs is personal, non-transferable, and non-sharable. Sharing credentials, distributing content by any means, downloading unauthorized materials, or using the content for commercial purposes is prohibited.

The duration of access is as indicated at the time of purchase. Salud Familiar reserves the right to revoke access in case of misuse.

7. Physical books and materials

Physical products are shipped to the delivery address provided at the time of purchase. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the carrier and destination. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon delivery. Conditions for damaged or defective products are described in the Sales and Refunds Policy.

8. Counseling sessions

To access counseling sessions, marriage coaching, or ministerial accompaniment, the participant must first sign a Client Agreement / Informed Consent that details the full terms of confidentiality, scope of service, code of conduct, emergency protocols, and other conditions. Counseling services are not provided without that signed document.

In case of emergency (risk to life, self-harm, harm to others, active domestic violence), do not contact Salud Familiar. Call 911 or 988 (U.S. crisis line).

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, videos, audio, course materials, books, graphics, logos, and trademarks — is the property of Salud Familiar or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the content only for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, distribution, translation, modification, or commercial exploitation without our express written authorization is prohibited.

10. Acceptable use

By using the Site or the services, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the Site.
  • Impersonate another person or provide false information.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users or our team.
  • Reproduce, copy, or commercially exploit any part of the content without authorization.

Non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of your access without prior notice.

11. Results and testimonials

Testimonials and results published on the Site reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee any specific result. Results may vary based on commitment, context, and personal circumstances of each participant.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salud Familiar, its directors, employees, counselors, pastors, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Site, courses, products, or services.

Salud Familiar's total aggregate liability for any claim related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Salud Familiar from any claim, demand, or expense arising out of (a) your use of the Site or services, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your infringement of third-party rights.

14. Modifications

Salud Familiar reserves the right to modify the Site, the services, and these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication. Continued use after a modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

In case of conflict, the document most specific to the service in question shall prevail.
