Sales and Refunds Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

At Salud Familiar we value the trust of those who invest in our courses, books, and counseling services. This Policy describes the terms applicable to all purchases made through saludfamiliarcounseling.com.

1. General no-refund policy

Due to the nature of our services — personalized counseling and digital content with immediate access — Salud Familiar maintains a general no-refund policy. Once a purchase is made, no cancellations, returns, or refunds will be accepted, regardless of the level of participation, attendance, or program completion.

2. Physical products (books and materials)

Physical products that arrive damaged or defective may be replaced at no cost within fourteen (14) days of delivery. To request a replacement, send photos of the product and packaging to Oficina@saludfamiliarcounseling.com within that timeframe.

We do not accept returns of products that have been opened, used, or are in good condition.

3. Digital courses and online programs

Once access to a course or program has been granted, no refunds will be issued, regardless of how much content has been consumed. Access is personal and non-transferable.

4. Counseling sessions

Counseling sessions are governed by the terms of the Client Agreement / Informed Consent that each participant signs before beginning the process. Specifically:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling require a minimum of 24 hours' advance notice.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, no-shows, or arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes late without prior notice will be treated as a completed session and are non-refundable.
  • Payment for each session must be made no later than one (1) day before the scheduled date.
  • Sessions may not remain inactive for more than one (1) month without rescheduling.

5. Internal credits and discretionary exceptions

Any partial refund, full refund, or internal credit may be granted solely at the sole and exclusive discretion of Salud Familiar. It does not constitute an obligation, vested right, or precedent.

When granted, internal credits will be valid for up to one (1) year from issuance, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.

6. Administrative errors

If an error occurs that is attributable to Salud Familiar — duplicate charges, access not delivered, sessions not scheduled due to our error — we commit to correcting it through rescheduling, delivering the corresponding access, or refunding the erroneous charge, as applicable. To report an error, contact us at Oficina@saludfamiliarcounseling.com within seven (7) days of the charge.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

If you have any concern with a purchase, we ask that you contact us before initiating a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We resolve most cases directly and promptly.

Disputes initiated without prior contact, or those found to be unfounded, may result in the suspension of your access to our services, in addition to applicable administrative costs.

8. General conditions

  • Purchase implies express acceptance of this Policy.
  • Results may vary, and no specific results are guaranteed.
  • Our services do not constitute medical, psychiatric, or clinical psychological care, nor a substitute for them. We are not subject to HIPAA.
  • Salud Familiar's decisions regarding refunds or credits are final.
  • This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
